What exactly is happening? Ok... Every time I put my foot to the floor in my 2001 WS6 weid **** happens. It happens at about second gear. When I am in first gear and get above lets say 5000 rpm and then shift, my car changes in second gear. Two things happen. First, the distance that is required for me to disengage my clutch gets signifigantly shorter, I'd say about twice as short or more. The second thing that happens is my gear track contracts and the gears are no longer where they used to be 1st and 3rd gear have a lot less distance between them. I tend to think that all of this is theoretically advantageous, but it isn't for me. I keep thinking that the gears are where they should be and try to put it into third gear, only to find out that that is now in between 3rd and 5th. Does this happen to anybody else or am I the only one. Just wanted to know. Thanks.

I don't know what on earth your talking about. I know the skip shift function is annoying as hell.
My biggest question is: Why are you revving to 5000rpm in first or second gear or any other gear unless your racing?
