Calling all SS GURUS I just pu my SS and while cleaning here up I noticed a 3.8 emmisions sticker! I was like big time WTF! So I look in the door jam at all the info there and there is all the slp stuff and other info with the same identical VIN#. So is it a possibility that Chevrolet messed up and installed that one wrong emissions sticker? Also the VIN on the dash is the same. This is puzzleing big time The car also has the a SLP # what gives. I think this could be a error and if I was in a emmissions state that could mess me up a little. Also I have every piece of documentation from the first owner from the first gas fill up everything window stickers SLP option sticker everything!. What the hell is up with that one sticker messing me up. There are no vin # on the emissions sticker but right above the emmissions sticker is a V8 belt routing diagram. Weird probably explains why when he got the car it came w/ a tape player which he upgraded with a stock CD player. The previous owner could get in alot of trouble since he is AF and I am AF too. But I really dont think he knew or messed with it. The car has no sign of an accident at all because I wondered maybe they used a different inner fender but that piece is factory stock. Option on the car are

Maybe this car was destined to be a 6 cyl car then at the last minute it got thrown converted into a V8 car. I really dont know I can definatly say its one of a kind. If it is a real V8 car.

Which is why no one has anything to say about it. You need to take it up with a higher authority. Maybe call SLP and they could get you in touch with someone.
