saw a ZL1
#2 - Helens car is not a SS. It is a ZL1.
On #3, I could be wrong. Matt could have converted his personal ZL1 to an automatic but I don't think so. I talk to him quite a bit on the telephone and he has never told me, "Oh by the way, I converted my ZL1 to an automatic".
she told me it was one of two automatics, the other for a guys wife to drive
helens was a purple color with white graphics.

didnt mean to offend you or anything by calling it a SS
i understand where you are coming from though, if i had a ZL1, i would want everyone to know and call it by what it really is

That's as big as webshots will make it. There's a larger pic here....

Maybe you saw the "white" solid roller Phase IV 2002 ZL1 #69 "Grumpy's Toy" tribute Camaro that Mike Carahan of GMMG used to own. This car is certainly capable of running in the 10's without a doubt.

Be sure to come to the Fred Gibb Memorial Car Show the first weekend in August. You will see both 1969 ZL1's there as well as 2002 ZL1's there including my Phase II

This is Helen Gibb's Phase I, automatic transmission, 2002 ZL1, PRototype #3.

Nope...........below is his # 1 2002 Phase III ZL1. He requested it to be painted with graphic's just like his #1 1969 ZL1 pictured below.

Below is his original 1969 ZL1, production #1. This was the very first ZL1 Camaro produced by Chevrolet in 1969. It was immediately converted into an AHRA drag racing car and remains that way even until today.

No offense taken. Just trying to set the record straight.
