Fake WS6's?

Fake WS6's? I'm searching for a true WS6 to buy in my area(Raleigh, NC). As I search, I see SO many Trans Ams that are represented as true WS6's...however, when I look at the pictures, I rarely see the "WS6" badge on the back of the car!
Does this badge have a problem with the adhesive? Do they fall off? Do they get stolen?
I can't imagine people voluntarily removing them, that doesn't make sense! Why would somebody pay the extra money for a WS6, then remove the badge!
Also, I see the lid cover which should have the "Pontiac Ram Air", and many times it's gone.
It's just my opinion, but if I had a WS6, I'd want all the original badges and stickers on it identifying it as a true WS6.
What do you guys think?

Could be a modified car. Some people take badges off to get paint jobs or paint fixed. Some take them off just cause. Could be a number of things. Just get the VIN # & run it. Then u will know.

Those WS6 badges from the dealer are over $100, I think $130 or so...so if something happened to that badge, the person might not have replaced it. If they had the car painted, or the bumper had to be replaced, that could be why the badge isn't there. Mine seems to stick pretty well...but I did see a whole batch of those badges at the dealership where the red plastic part was all cracked and falling out. They're brittle if they get bent the slightly bit.
Check the codes on the door, that would tell you for sure. And then if it is a true WS6 but missing the badge, I'd question to make sure it wasn't in an accident.
