2000 Trans Am WS6!!! Help!
2000 Trans Am WS6!!! Help! Hey guys. Im in the process of purchasing a 2000 trans am ws6. It has power everything, black interior, black exterior, polished alloy rims, t-tops, six speed, the works. My question is how much should i expect to pay. It's for sale at the price of 13,995. Im really interested in this car...but i want to know if Im paying too much! Guys please help me out. It has 86,500 miles on the clock and its mechanically safe. Also, how do I verify its a real WS6?The VIN is: 2G2FV22G4Y2161452. How do I know if it has any SLP mods? Guys im not too familiar with late model f-bodies so please help me out! Thanks a bunch.
dont know about how to find out if its a reall ws6 or not but i just bought my 2000 with 47,000 on it for 14900(basically same car black in black out ect.) when i had to get tags i didnt have a bill of sale so the tags place said when i had to pay taxes on it i would hae to pay retail value tax instead tax on what i paid for it they said the retail value was over 22K so i dont know if that helps but the price seems about right to me

I believe another way to check if its an actuall ws6 is one the rpo codes as mentioned above and also check the hood! open the hood and check your nostrils in the hood and if you have rivets and those spacers inside I do believe it would identify as a true ws6. after market hoods wont have hose rivets or the spacers for inclement weather.......and of course check the dealer with VIN #......Later......

Hey, Sorry About my reply 14 years after, but, Here in Mexico is this car, and I want to buy it, but I do not know if is real ws6... You Bought the car?.... the Niv is the same, and it has the same problem the sticker is lost.
CompNine.com is your friend, enter the VIN and it should tell you all the RPO codes that the car was built with. WS6 must be one of them if it is a real WS6. Your other option is to have a GM dealership look up your RPOs from your VIN#.
