Triple black SS vert
Triple black SS vert I may have an opportunity to acquire an '01 SS vert (all black) from a lady here in my small town. It's an A4 car with a basic SS package. It is very clean in all respects (even original tires), VERY low miles, and records. I'm showing a total production of 112 of these at the most. It would be my 3rd LS1 car to be here at the house, and it will damn near break me (again), but I feel like I shouldn't pass this up. I'm an M6 fan, but the rarity alone has my interest peaked. How about some opinions?

If possible, post the build sheet RPOs. I'd rather see them then the drivers door sticker which can be incomplete or unreadable. You might find the origianal paper build sheet in the glove box.

Thanks guys. I'm looking at the car Sunday. My kids are grown (junior in high school, and college), and I don't NEED the car, but I'm leaning towards getting it. She's (the owner) a mid-40's single gal that bought the car new from a dealer in the Dallas area. It's got a little under 20K miles on the clock, and stays garaged. It has two small dings on the rear quarter panel that my paintless dent guy will do for $35. Has the 3.23 rear, and proper codes for the SS package. We shall see...

Just get it and be a lil tight on flow for awhile. I have a SOM SS Vert 6 speed that was ordered by Scott Settlemire himself. Got his name on the order forms and I have all paperwork on it. Found out only 37 were made with the 6 speed and only 5 of those were tan top and tan interior. Later found that only two had all SLP options mine being one of those so just like the other guy said, it could be alot rarer than that.
