thanks guys
There were no officially released Firehawk's in 98. They were originally going to go with the fixed headlights, but a delay in obtaining DOT approval for the new headlights haulted production. Consequently, I believe something like 8 were protyped, but I think only 2-3 of those prototypes actually made it out of SLP to "selected" people, mostly tied directly to the company. Needless to say, it is next to impossible you have one of those few, becuase if you did it would be a pretty big deal. My guess is you simply have a pretty good reproduction.

BTW...SLP would have a build number of the car based on the VIN. You can always call them and get an official answer.

Here's a few pics of my old Hawk that I sold two years ago to a young guy in Chicago.

1995 Firehawk #237 6spd hardtop 48,000 miles when I sold it. all SLP content; Hurst shifter, TODL, Bilstein Level II suspension, Hawk mats, and Hawk car cover. Was a damn nice car, if I could find another one cheap enough to do a LS1 swap I would.

Here's a few of mine - 99 Firehawk TA #156. It's been quite a while since I've posted here, but I'm still around

Plenty more on my website at www.urprey.com - the other car is my daily driver, an 04 Grand Prix CompG with a semi-matching plate

My car was built with two options: chrome wheels and floor mats. I added a car cover after I got it.

Did you add the WS6 lower air scoop? I didn't think that would fit with a Firehawk hood. Also, are those the original seats? SLP told me that '99's only came with gray interiors. I could be way off here, just going off what the people who made them told me.

Yes, I added the WS6 airbox, and it fits mine just fine. They are the original seats (I added the embroidered logo in the headrests). SLP told you incorrectly as I have seen several 99 Firehawks with taupe leather.

I wonder what else SLP has told me that's off. Nice car by the way. I need to lower mine so it looks like yours.

Heres two, one by itself, another with its new garage mate.

Car is #C008. It has all GM options, all SLP options (except for the optional spoiler), and lots of aftermarket stuff (mainly suspension parts).
