The owner must have taken it to LPE in Decatur. Top of the line work. You pay a bit more than others, but you know your getting the best. And they're always friendly with asking questions or anything else you would like to know. We had the same package done on our car. Nothing but the best.

That T/A's owner had LPE install one of their many packages. LPE has been doing small-block chevy upgrades for decades. Several of their 'Vettes have been featured in C&D over the years. They also did a Hurst / LPE Firebird in '97 and '98, both very rare (only 9 built in '97, 8 in '98 I believe). I had a chance to tour their shop w/ a local SAE group a couple years ago, definately a first-rate shop. Their backlot had about a dozen customer's cars waiting in line for upgrades, among them a Silv-SS, a couple of Escelades, along w/ f-bods and 'vettes. Inside their shop was a 700+HP TT-Escelade, several vettes getting blowers and a couple of their own "project cars", one of them the red AWD S-10 p/u that ran in a C&D supercar challenge a few years back (it DNF'd due to trans problems, but not until after it smoked the field in the drag contest).

Yeah Lingenfelter had a engine package for any Gen 4 F-Body. You just send your car to them and they modify and send it back.

It's hard to tell from the pics, but that looks to be one of our top end packages. We have built hundreds of these over the last few years, and they are very nice cars. LPE SS, what all did you get done by LPE and what numbers are you putting down? I love those wheels you have on there. When we picked up our SS from LPE, their first supercharged hummer was sitting outside to be tested by C&D i think. I think the famous silver vette was in the shop as well. Once again, top of the line shop and great people to work with.

Like you, I bought the "Top End" kit. Made 380 and some change at the wheels when it left their shop. Installed headers later but never had it retuned or redynoed - made a HUGE difference according the "buttmeter" though.
Sold the motor last summer, lol AND the wheels. Good 'ol Mr. Potter and company are helping out with my new motor combo for '06 that should put a little more strain on the 10 bolt
. Still looking for new wheels though 
.... can't seem to talk those boys out of donating a set of HRE's (Ed, are you listening?).
