1998 WS6 Mod it or or leave it stock.
I have a 1998 WS6 that a still havent done anything to.I'm starting to think I should just leave it stock.I'm planning on keeping it in my family and was just think it might be better to leave it the way GM made it.What do you guys think?
The early WS6 rims
would be one of main reasons I'd buy a WS6 in the future. Polish up the stock rims and keep the car fresh looking. Please keep all LS1 cars respected... clean.
If you mod it do it in the name of "restoring as you go." If you get a mild cam go ahead and do the oil pump. Not only will you have new valve springs, but new oil seals and so on.
Headers make the car better and an electric waterpump seems like a smart upgrade when the old one fails.
When you do the clutch, instead of using the resufaced stock flywheel, get a new aluminum one. It'll spin up much faster and improve acceleration.
That's the frame of mind I'm under with my Firehawk.
