Headers I'm undecided on whether or not I want to get full exhaust including headers. I would really like the performance and sound but I don't want to stray from emissions. I put headers on my old 3.4 (i know i know) right before the state decided to change emissions and I don't want to get stuck in between again. Are there even emissions legal headers or are emissions all about the cats?
Headers are one of the best bang for buck mods in my book. It's very easy to stay legal while adding headers - add flanges for swappable cats.
My FLP Headers came with cats and straightpipes. Once emissions comes, all I have to do is go under the car, undo the braces, swap on the cats, do a quick tune, then go pass the test.
Cliff notes: Do it. Tune + Cats and you'll pass emissions.
