yes it is, although when it was painted all the conversion stickers were removed, and the stock wheels didnt come with the car unfortunately other wise she would sell the black ones and run the chrome, car looks killer with chrome wheels on it. and the car came as is for the most part a few engine goodies have been changed/ added and some serious underhood changes are comin over the winter

 

Who the hell thinks that that is LIME green!!!!! If you cant see what color it really is, i'm pretty sure you should'nt be driving if your eyes are that bad!!!

hey transam75 you havent seen the car in person, take it easy. It looks like the pictures took alittle edge off the color. But yea ive seen your car too you might have seen me it was on golf going under the 294 bridge, i had open headers so it was hard to miss me. I was headed up to the track lol. Its definetly a different color which i guess is why i like it!

At night, it even looks almost white...its not lime green, but honestly that is what a lot of people call it because it really has no name to it. I haven't even thought of a true name for the color, but thats the least of my worries now!! And I probably saw you. I work almost right by Golf and 294 so I'm sure I have seen you. I have seen a few a couple times around this area, just seeing whats out there =) Yeah, my car is pretty loud, but I have an exhaust waiting to put on, but the car might be going away soon so who knows if I will get driving time with the new exhaust I bought for it =\ but as it isn't hard to miss me.... ::laughs::

 

next time i am out with her i will bring the slow lt1 car for some fun

nope i am myztery's B/F i just hear bout all the matt stuff and all i see out by her and you is ls1 cars never see lt1, but havent had the chance to play with the slow ls1 cars out there yet

from all that i hear i really need to meet up with this matt guy and hand his *** to him, one of these days hopefully before winter, and you should run him too as well as me and you should get down sometime

 

ok MY ? is why'd you repaint it, and what was the color before? If you repainted it just for it to be custom....thats ok i suppose, but if it was a SOM.... well you need to be shot! lol jk jk who cares what color it is anyways.....Hawks are the sexiest cars alive. If money was no factor I'd still buy a Hawk or absolutely anything!

hardtop your lt1 fast? i was actualy going to put an lt1 in my nova i bought a 95 out of a vette and decided to wait so i sold it haha im gonna go with a 6.0l turbo set up prolly once im out of school and making more money we should get matt to meet us up at streets or something on a weekend or something haha

 

I've seen another firehawk around the area, near Maine West. I am pretty near Wolf and Golf intersection.

I didn't paint the car...the guy I bought it from had painted it, but it gave me ever more reason to buy it b/c its different. The color before was black.

Oh--I want in on this meeting up =) Been telling my b/f about Matt and he's all for it and I def want to watch the fun =)

 

yea im definitely likin that color....i wouldnt go as far as to paint mine that color but....i like it

 

mine runs ok certainly havent found an ls1 that was faster yet, but only ls1 cars i have messed with were vettes, and i am planning to meet up with a few guys from chitown racing on friday out there so hopefully the weather holds out and we could maybe all meet up and streets

also i am very seriously considering using a bunch of extra ls1 part i have to put together an ls1 6 spd setup in my 88 formula

yea i love older cars with ls1 or lt1s there are the **** you dont expect them to move they way they do! im done for streets friday! who else we should make another thread to get more people!!!

 

i have only been to streets twice i think so it would cool to meet up with a bunch of guys there, just always lived so far away never hung there, just depemds on weather now, i am goin to lockport right after work to get a new glass hood for my 88 then comin home and heading out by you, so i plan to be out there by 730 or so, when you wanna hit streets? 9???
