real ws6? Check out the pix on this 02 ws6. the ws6 badge is on the left side of the car, anyone heard of a ws6 with the badge on the left side??? it doesnt seem like a bad price for a ws6 with only 21k miles on it.

yea, thats why im asking, ive only ever seen the ws6 badge on the right side. and as far as the price, idk if you've looked recently around NJ, but around PA, thats the avg. price ive been finding...sucks i know...but im in the market for one

Well it would be a small price to pay for an unmolested car. But if it shows signs of wear I would use that to get the price down. Warrenty? Also these cars are notorious for having leaky pinion seals. Check it out.

K,....Just so you know,.......those aren't WS.6 wheels either. And thats a large part of the WS.6 package. Just for not having those alone he should take down the price alot. So that mixed with the badge on the wrong side,....I think your get'n take'n for a ride. Those wheels go to a regular Trans Am,...and NOT a WS.6 Trans Am. I'm reading it as a CON or a WS.6-Clone. If its a Clone,..then that isn't a bad thing,....but you cant list it as a WS.6 without it being a true WS.6 unless your listing it as a WS.6 Clone. But otherwise,.....its a CON. Plus,....I bet he jacked up the price up to what a WS.6 sells for too.
Ask the seller o show you a picture of all the variouse double letter single digit codes (RPO CODES) on the driver's side door and send it to you. It'll have WS6 as one of the codes. If it doesn't,.......it ain't a WS6!

I just called them to out of curiosity,...I spoke to a Frank I think. He doesn't know jack about what a WS.6 really is. I got the VIN though,........so I'm gonna help you out and make a call to find out if it really is a WS.6 for ya.

DerTeufel,.... So he called me back! I asked him to check the hight of the air-box, wheels, reason for the badge on the driver's side and lastly to search for the RPO code and this is what I got.
-Air-Box: Its the right height
-Wheels: Apparently those are the correct wheels FOR THAT YEAR. I didn't know that they 86ed the WS.6 wheels after 2000. My mistake!
-Badge: They have no idea why its on that side period! They said that it hasn't been in an accident but its a car dealership so,...get a Car-Fax report just to be safe!!
-RPO Code: He said that its there! If you end up go'n to take a look at it i'd recomend looking for the code first. Here's a picture of mine so you know what to look for. Its on the driver's side door. I even circled it so you know where it is.
I guess im mistaken, from what I saw,.it looks like a good deal. Mileage...21,777 for $22,995 and its an 02.... Im surprised that its still there!! Thats if that RPO code is there. Just get a Car-Fax report still though. Good Luck!
