Question about HP

A friend of mine has a 2001 SS with full exhaust (headers, y-pipe, Borla catback), almost all the bolt-on intake work (SLP lid, filter, MAF sensor, smooth bellow, BBK TB and a Jet Performance chip with stage 2 tuning) and his car registered at 230 hp on a dyno here. (it is a really old dyno by the way). Another friend has a 96 Vette and his is the stock LT1 and his registered at 250 hp. How is this possible? I know the factory rating on the 01 SS is 325 and the factory rating on the 96 Vette is 300.

i think it should be around 350rw for the mary(M6). An a4 would be lower.

the old vettes i have no idea.

what does the ss run at the track?

The SS has not been on the track, he doesn't race it, however, people say it should be in the mid 12's.
