Trade Value I'll probably end up selling privately but if I were to trade in my 02 Pewter M6 Firehawk w/ 39K miles that is in good condition( few small scratches here & there) What would yall say I should expect for a reasonable trade offer ?
Dealership might give you $14-16k maybe a little less.
My buddy was looking to trade his 02 SS on a new Chevy Tahoe and the dealership offered him 11k and his car had 21k on it
(it was a loaded 345HP SS)

My '02 SS convertable with 8800 miles- $15k trade
I realize that they are there to make money, and used cars are the cash cows. They would take my car in for 15k and put it back on their own lot for $23k without even having to wash it..... Gimmie a break!
If you want to get best money for any car you have, you have to sell it yourself. Trades are only a good option if you are in a hurry, your car is a total POS (and they will kill you on the 4-square deal sheet anyway), or you are willing to loose money in favor of simplicity.

www.edmunds.com will be the most accurate for predictions, but consider them on the high side for trade value. I wouldn't trade in an LS1 f-body, they are best sold privately.
