Default 1999 Camaro SS Vert whats it worth?

I know what KBB calls it for ... The car has 12,104 miles and is in perfect condition.. I can get the car for 16,000 which is a little higher than retail BB is the car worth it? The car has no flaws at all... still smells new inside. The car is 100% stock ..

Thanks Chris

Wow, that car's been driven less than mine (14.5kmi). Sounds like a reasonable deal. While "100% stock" implies it's been well cared-for, and would be preferred over a modified car even if you were planning on modding it, it doesn't mean it hasn't been driven hard and put to bed wet. At that mileage, it should still have the factory GY F1s. If the tread is relatively even all around on those original tires, then it's a safe bet that it hasn't been abused.

I say maybe $14.5, the market is real soft right now.

1. what color?
2. what options and tranny?

For example, a hugger orange 99 SS convertible 6-speed would be more desirable and more pricey compared to a pewter automatic 99 SS convertible.

Red with black top... 6speed, SLP Options: Floor mats, Lubricant, chrome rims, car cover.. I am still thinking about buying it just because the miles are so low and it would look great sitting next to my firehawk..

New, the car was around $30k or more (I've forgotten). One way to look at it is the previous owner is taking more than a $1 per mile hit in depreciation.

I don't think it is a steal, but if I were looking for one and it is as cherry as you describe, I'd buy it (except that I don't like black leather seats in a vert).
