2000 SS Rim question

hey guys, i have a 2000 SS and it has the 10 spoke alloy rims on it. i want to show it, but i'll only have a chance in the orignal class because i haven't done any mods or anything to it. well my question is can i put some chrom Z06's or some chrome on it and still be ok for the stock class in car shows? i hate how alloy's take away from the car. Thanks

I know nothing about that, but ZR1's are original and I think they look better than the 10 spokes.

Yeah you could put ZR1s on there if you dont really like the 10spokes. Personally I think 10spokes look good on certain colors, such as pewter.

alright thanks, i like the 10 spokes, but i think it takes so much away from my car

I guess I should put a disclaimer in there...MOST shows don't matter. If it's your local cruise night or 4th of July type of show at the local fairgrounds or whatever, it won't matter. If you're going for serious competition where they're making sure you have the correct paint overspray and using the right type of grease, stock wheels would probably matter.
