Quick question I am lookin to get a 99 nbm Formula an wanted to make the ouside look like a firehawk formula. Would a stock hawk hood fit our would i need to make adjustments. An what else would i need to complete the transformation.
idk if the hood just bolts up, if i remember correctly, there are gaps in the nose of the hood (fitment issues). or maybe im just blowin smoke out my ***, i thought i remembered reading that somewhere. you can get a raptor hood. then u can get some hawk wheels....are u just tryin to make it look exactly like a hawk, or just kinda same theme? if u can get your hands on old lumpy, GET IT (i love it, but most hate it). but whatever u do, dont get hawk emblems and dont tell people its a real hawk. if i were u, id either
1) do my own thing with it and not try to replicate something 100%
or
2)hold off and wait for a good deal on a hawk

The front bumper has to be trimmed because the Firehawk hood is longer.
Here is a pic:
...and the hood latch is a rod you have to pull out, not a lever like all other f-body cars are.
When you look up the Firehawk hood on SLP's site you will see the trimmed bumper there as well.

a few posts down there is a white bird with the raptor hood, hopefully u can do a search or someone will chime in with better pics
