Chris' car is real,only silver W66 1LE built in 98.Pristine car with heavy documentation(even has the Koni adjustment tool in the unopened bag) but he wants at least 20k more than it's at right now.Mike W had his black 99 W66 ILE on ebay last year,it only pulled around where Chris's car is at currentely.These cars just don't get any respect unfortunately.

Wow, 35K reserve is alot --$$$$--. But, being one of the rarest 4th gens comes at a price I guess. This is probably the lowest mile, true 1LE firebird left. I wish I had the means to buy this car.

Starting with the LS1 1LE cars they came with the power options and A/C which the 4th gen LT1 cars did not have availiable to them.
The car maybe rare in the eyes of a modern Pontiac owner, but in the end it is nothing more than a firebird with a V8 that no bank in the united states will loan any more then book value on.

Its not a COPO like car these cars were built for road racing.
Its not a better engine that came on any other fbody nor more horsepower. No other power options just a stripped down Autocross car.
Not that there is anything wrong with the package.
But it is no Copo drag car.
If the cars came with a higher horsepower engine ,headers something to give it more grunt from the factory then maybe it would garner more money.
If you line up this car and a stock 98 formula or TA they would all run the same or close in the 1/4 mile.
Its on the road course where this car would shine but it is not as common as drag racing.
If I had the money I would buy this car.

These catergorically equate to the COPO's of old,and are really the only purpose cars since the L72' Camaros and Chevelle's JMHO.
