Any seriously modded Firehawks in here..??? I think I might have one of the most modified ones around.....I have an 01 too, so its a pretty low # year, I got car 236 out of 540...
My car came loaded with the chrome rims, bilsteins & eibachs, auburn rear, floormats, all the goodies...6-speed w/hurst...slp dual-dual....it was a great car....
But then, I got bit by the mod bug...
Now its..
372c.i. 6.0L Iron block - ATI D-1SC procharger (12psi)- TH400, 12-bolt, Slicks/Skinnies....and some damn good looking paint....car only has 15,500 miles on it, and its in near perfect condition, a few minor scratches in the front bumper, but as soon as I get it back from the shop its going to get a nice buffing....
Anyone else have a rare car that they have made quite fast......

Re: Any seriously modded Firehawks in here..??? I have a 2000 Firehawk. I stayed stock cubes but bolted on a set of big heads, cam, and all the bolt ons and free mods. I also have a progressively controlled 200 dry shot. Everything else is factory from SLP (except for the 8 point cage)
Re: Any seriously modded Firehawks in here..??? The only thing done to my car is a cutout, ported maf, 2800 vig, and a GM crate LS6 engine. The car also has every option from SLP. I guess my car is unique that there are very few silver formula hawks for 02. I would like to do a turbo kit for the car. Something different to play with.

Hey BIGBOS while my friend Dragon has a Black with Gold Stripes 10th Aniversary 01 Firehawk #59 I think hes got SLP H/C, SLP/Yank 3200 stall, SLP LT, SLP Loudmouth, TNT 125 shot. He lives in Westmont so not too far from you. And has a side note hows that TH400? You ever do any street driving on it? Im interested in changing my trans cause its got 70,000 miles on it and I plan on going low 10s on my 98 Z28 eventually and I just have noticed most people around that have TH400s. Hey maybe I could meet you sometime and check out your car I live in Elmhurst so its like a 15-20 minute drive to Elk Grove Village.

Re: Any seriously modded Firehawks in here..??? Yes, I know Dragon, I use to see him at a few car shows, hes been to a couple of MFBA events I think too, yea he recently got some things done by speed, his car is probably a beast now...
The TH400 has about 5000 miles on it so far....and its been great....no signs of letting go anytime soon, I will see how it puts up to the new power....
That would be fine if you checked out my car....my off days from work are monday and friday, and I have sunday off....my car could possibly be done tomorrow or friday, I want it for the weekend....
