Question My buddy has a 1998 TRUE SS CAMARO
6 spd.
180,000miles.
heres the story...i have known this car since it was bought....lots of highway miles and little bit of track days. Always had street tires/never launched too hard.....has a 150 shot on it and has no rust dents or scratches...leather in great condition..he wants payoff for it so he doesnt ruin his credit $4600.00
would you buy this cause i am thinking about it

Personally I'd buy it but would first like to have the motor checked out. However, if you know you're gonna be having the motor rebuild or going with something bigger i.e. 383, 402 or 408, I really don't see a problem with buying it. IMO I think you're in a great situation because you already well acquainted with that car as oppose to another car you'd be buying from a total stranger.
Spares are great.
