I meant I had one for my last Trans Am, and bought it for the exact same reasons I did this time, except this time I actually have a firehawk, lol.

Yeah thats way different then my SLP lid. I wouldn't make the change from my SLP lid to the Blackwing. Probably ain't that big of a difference between the two.

It's got the same quality or better than the OEM lid. My SLP lid would not stay sealed to the filter and eventually started to crack around the tabs that kept it in place. It also hit my hood in one small spot. So I just bought the Blackwing lid and it fits just like the stock one.
