well if i moved the event to memphis, id lose probably close to 6 of the hawks that are coming to Tulsa, besides, im driving up from Ft. Benning, GA to do this, in fact, i pass through Tupelo on my way!

Cheetoh, you really need to come! give you a chance to enjoy that exceptionally clean hawk of yours, and stretch its legs! By the way, how did the new wheel purchase turn out for you? did you get the blackbird wheels mounted?

oh, and SPLATT, the owner of 92 hawk #26, also owns #6, and one of two built, one left in existance 92 IMSA firehawk race cars! the IMSA is not street legal, so it wont come out at all, however, at the dinner at Fudruckers, i may be able to Greg to bring #6 up as well. it was features in high performance pontiac magazine in 2005. was like a 6 page article on it even. car has less than 4500 miles so wont be on the cruise, but #26 will with its all aluminum 383 stroker! if there is anyway you can make it out, you will get to see some very clean, very rare, and very unique hawks!

hopefully you all can make it

well one of the main reasons for a firehawk gathering in the central states is because the east coast already has the annual firehawk ralley in norwalk, ohio. i saw a need for hawk owners in the central, and western states to have an opportunity to get together and thought that id step up to the plate and try to quarterback this thing. i chose tulsa because i know the area, and there are some very rare hawks in that area that may not be able to get to travel very far, so by staying there, more people will be drawn in to see some of them such as 92 #26, one of 29 LT4 hawks, and even the 98 prototype hawk. cars such as these are fairly near to tulsa, or already there, and are far too rare to risk cross country cruisin just to make a hawk meet. now i am considering trying to put on another one next year, and trying to do it up in Denver, but will just have to see how that goes. may just end up being Tulsa again.

How many of you hawk owners on here post on firehawk.org?

we can use all the hawks we can get. if it does well enough this year, ill try and get hallet's road course in jennings reserved for next year so we can do a show, and run around the road course all day. would have to collect a fee for that one though as hallet is not free, and certainly not cheap. just have to see what this years event brings and plan accordingly.
