Can anyone provide me with contact info for Matt Murphy? He found the Seaton's Super Shaker Corvair I built and drove for Pete and was going to restore it. I lost track of him when I sold my home and moved aboard my sailboat. Thanks, Jay Howell

Were the GMMG built cars (DH, ZL1, etc.) 50 state smog legal? I'm asking because I live in California.

Thanks

The short answer is yes,but just like current GM(and for the last 45 years) production vehicles there were/are 49 state cars then CA RPO ordered vehicles. There were three Intimidator SS cars built for CA customers, they were tuned specifically, and had comply with our 422 emissions standards. Not sure how many other GMMG cars were delivered new to owners in state.

Thanks for all of the information everyone. I was originally asking about the Phase II, because my family got one. Well it finally came in, and we are very excited!

Check out the video of finally pulling it out:

Dam! Good eye! I didn't think the video gave the color justice. However, I guess you could tell. But we love the car, and couldn't be happier.

That video reminds me of why I ordered my ZL1. I saw Matt Berger's blue '02 with Fikse wheels and I was hooked. The perfect SS combo to me. It's a phase IIR whatever now. Too bad my engine builder couldn't put the 427 together right. That would have been one bad beast!!

Thanks... Ya I think it looks great too. I didn't realize Matt Berger had an '02, I thought he just had that the orange '01. That's neat you ordered your ZL1. I beat that was fun. Got any pics?
