The above info is exactly correct. Basically the F-1 came about in 1995 as a Gm Performance Parts dealer installed after production total package or piece by piece install. All of the parts as listed above were SLP performance parts rebranded as "GM Performance Parts" and given GM part numbers.
There is no record on how many were built because as stated, these were after production dealer (or owner) installed items. LS1 cars with F-1 dealer installed stuff is a little more rare simply because a lot of the F-1 performance parts were LT1 specific. Also with the SS, most dealers would just fill their lot with those vs. taking a gamble by loading up a Z28.
The black car pictured above has Z06 replica wheels when it should have ZR1s with F-1 center caps (to have all of the F-1 exterior mods) and the Ultra Z hood was an SLP item that wasn't part of the F-1 package. The T handle shifter is also a non F-1 part.
The package was also supposed to replace the Z28 emblems with the F-1 emblems but some dealers left the Z emblems on.
