JL - We are able to do some custom work, but I'm not sure if we would be able to modify our hood - sometimes this gets into more custom work then we are geared up to do...I'll check with our production manager and see what we can do for you.
9 Second - We can do this for you. Normal price on this would be $695.00 (which is the price of the hood, scoop and $180.00 for labor/materals)...with the ls1tech discount, the price would be $625.00.
Thanks.

Jeanie,

Thanks, lemme know. I'm not in a huge rush... I'm gonna try to pick up an edlebrock intake setup when I have some spare $.. and we will pull the hood and put it on and test it out... if it makes enough added power to be worth it, then the hood will be the next step.... I don't see me needign anything soon.

Actually, after looking at your stuff on your website... the 93-97 style hood would be perfect if it was only a 2 inch cowl instead of a 4 inch.. btu I'm not sure what it would look like on a 4th gen car... you wouldn't happen to have a pic of that style hood on a 4th gen would you, or will it not fit right?

JL - We make a 2" for the 98-02 Camaro, but I don't believe that we currently have a picture of this item on a car (sorry!). most of the pics we've recieved from customers were of the sunoco and the ss hoods....the earlier model will not work on the 4th gen....

Slick ~ We still offer the 10% ls1tech member discount. The price of the sunoco hoods would be with discount - pin on $405.00 and bolt on $535.00. We are required to charge tax for customers who reside in Illinois or who pickup at our location - not our rules, we just have to follow them...our tax bracket is 7.5%

02Camaroburn - If shipped, there would be a crating charge of $20.00 added to the price of the hood.
These items will need to ship by truck freight, as they are too large to ship by ups/dhl. Generally the freight charges are paid directly to the carrier upon reciept of your item. We recommend having the item delivered to a business or terminal as many carriers charge additionally to make a home delivery. Approx. freight to a business or terminal will cost $70-$80.00 and to a home location $150-$170.00.

Moe - luv that sig!!

Jeanie,

When is the LS1Tech 10% discount scheduled to end? I want to order a 3" SS bolt on for my '98 Z, but sometime late Winter will be the earliest more than likely.

Thank you, Jim

Hey Guys
I'm sorry but the GP discount has expired a while back. However, we still offer the 10% LS1Tech member discount to all members - this is an ongoing sale, so no experation date on this discount.
Ok...to everyone who asked for prices:

NHRAFORMULA00 - with the member discount, the price on the stock bolt on would be $360.00. We are required by the state to charge tax on customer pickups or customers who reside in Illinois - the tax on this hood would be $27.00. The weight on this hood is 22-25lbs.

01FireTurd - with the member discount, the price on the ws9 hood would be $625.00. If shipped, there would be a crating charge of $20.00 added to the price of the hood. freight charges are paid directly to the carrier upon receipt of your item and I would estimate freight around $90.00.

aleSS - On hoods, there would be a crating charge of $20.00 added to the price of the hood. To pickup at a terminal freight would cost between $70-$80.00.

10secLT1 - The gp is expired...however, the 10% member discount is still valid. The price on this hood with the member discount is $292.00.

LuvMyZ - There is no experation date on the member discount, it is ongoing. We'll still be honoring the discount next year.

Please keep in mind guys that we do make everything to order. Currently we have a 5-6 week production time on all parts....this time frame may vary depending on our work load in the back.

I hope everyone here has a very wonderful and safe holiday!! Merry christmas!!!

Jeanie

Jim, sounds great ~
You could pm if you'd like, but it is not necessary - just mention at the time of order and we'll apply the discount. Thanks!!!

Hi Guys

2MuchRice... - I'm sorry but at this time we do not have plans to produce any newer hoods for the vettes. I can recommend a good company to check with if you would like to pm or email me.

Unfortunately our group purchase has expired, however, we still offer a 10% member discount to all ls1tech members.

Camaro383 - The price on the 3" SS bolt on hood with the discount is $535.00. If shipped, there would be a crating charge of $20.00 added to the price of the hood. This item does need to ship by truck as it is too large for ups/dhl to ship. The freight charges would be paid directly to the carrier upon receipt of your item. We recommend having the item delivered to a business address or to pickup at the nearest freight terminal - as many carriers charge additionally for a home delivery (usually about $40.00).
Approx. freight to a business or terminal will cost between $110-$130.00 and to a home location between $150-$170.00.

brising ~ We offer a few different types of hoods for your car. I would recommend checkin' our website for pictures and some more information. The web address is: http://www.vfnfiberglass.com

Thanks guys!
Jeanie
