NEED HELP with FUEL GAUGE!!!
Hey guys,
i filled up with gas a few days ago and i noticed my fuel gauge is still reading 100% full. Now either i have the most fuel efficent ss in the world or something went wrong.
And i have driven about 150 miles and ZERO drop on the needle.
And yes, the needle still moves because when i start it up on accessories, it does the sweep back and fourth. Also, no fuses are blown.
any help would be greatly appreciated it
thanks
Kevin

just remembered.....a way to check it: pull the pump assembly out but leave the harnesses plugged. turn the key to run and move the floater and see if the gauge fluctuates at all

u can either cut the fuel pump access panel or drop the tank. if u decide to cut the panel, type fuel pump access panel in search and there are writeups on this
fuel pump comes out of the top of the tank fairly easy. undo the lines and twist the lock ring and it should be free to come out. u will see the sending unit and floater attached to the bucket
