Default What do I need for deck swap

If I keep the factory amp what all do I need to replace the stock deck with an aftermarket one? I know the obvious 1.5 to 1 den, plus the antenna adapter, but is there a special wiring harness I would need? or just the regular GM wiring harness to go from CD player to stock wiring harness?

Just the standard 88+ GM wiring harness adapter.

If you want to retain steering wheel controls, you'd also need an adapter for that.

PAC SWI-X is the universal IR steering wheel control adapter. It'll work with most aftermarket headunits that have an IR sensor.

PAC also makes brand specific wired units as well (ex: SWI-PS is for Pioneer headunits with the remote port on the back). The wired brand-specific unit works by plugging into the aftermarket headunit's wired remote port (therefore, make sure the headunit has a wired remote port before getting one of these wired adapters).
