Default Anyone tried Kicker CompVRs

in their stealthbox? I know they are decent subs. The stealthbox doesn't meet the required airspace per Kicker though. I like all kinds of music, but I'd like for it to hit some low notes. Any input?

ya they hit hard for thier size shoot any kicker will slam just depends on the amp. just remember you need at least 80% of the RMS power of the sub to be supplied by the amp ex. a 500w rms sub needs at least 400w rms from the amp. but you'll love them trust me

I had a 12" Kicker Comp CVR in my 12" stealthbox and it only lasted about 9 months, before it sounded like ****, so I traded it or warranty it sounds alright but when I put it into a well box, it got even louder and sounded even better.

They are not decent subs. They are budget subs. They have no sound quality.

I have currently 2 Kicker CompVR 12's in my 99 Escalade, and they hit very hard all i have is a 1,000watt MAX MA Amp its very old too its glass see thru, they are in a 1inch MDF Possible sub zone box thats vented. I heard they dont make them like they used to like mine. But People cant believe how loud it is. I got a ticket that said " Excessively loud music that could be heard approximitly 100 ft away"

I had them since i was 18 and im 22 now, they sound great to me and hit very hard, with windows closed you can feel the pressure build. Very good product!
