Default Custom double din installed pic

Well it took a couple days but i finally finished my double din bezel. Its not perfect because i used the wrong type bondo and could not sand the edges properly but it is fine for me. I just ordered 5 stock bezels to make into double dins. I should be able to make these in less than five days, and will post pics of those when they're done.

thanks for any feedback,

I like it. I'm working on mine right now, they are such a pain!! The only thing I would change is the color, it doesn't match very well?

yea i know, lol. I am actually getting it color matched this weekend to the factory color. I just sprayed this color on to cover up the bondo, and i was going to make more of them anyway.

Believe me, this is the rough rough draft of what i ultimately want lol.

I commend you on what you have done though! I am having trouble getting the corners to come out right also. I am going to put vinyl over mine when it is all said and done though, so it doesn't have to be as perfect as yours will have to be, although, yet again, I'm really **** about things like this, lol.

ahh the mistakes we all make....

i bought that wrong gray color too, before i found out that i needed "dark gray charcoal". sanding is a bitch isnt it? no one really understands what that means till they get into it. Dont forget texture, thats the easy part. Its in my how to make a DD manual. <--save you allot of heartache.

You did a great job, but why does everybody move the ASR and foglight switch around?

Yea, its def alot of sanding and measuring. When i got that paint i could not find that textured clear stuff.

I'm going to have to look around for that stuff before the next ones i make get here.

Great "how to" by the way! they should sticky it.
