Amp Rack Construction Project
Well the rack mount is done, now I have to built the amp rails they have to be 1" high. Its the only way to fit all 3 amps. Well was wrapping it up for tonight and it dawned on me. I better make those rails bolt on, so I can pull the amps rails off as assembly and not have to unwire everything if I need to change a taillight bulb. This way I can unbolt the rack mount separately.
If anyone has any other ideas or lessons learned lets hear them. I hope to have this phase done by next weekend so I can run all that wire next weekend.

What'd you build it out of? I hope you didn't make it from MDF. Amp racks have to be plywood (or hardwood, though I'd stick to plywood to be safe) to not be crap.
Why? Because screws rip out of MDF very easily. Do an emergency stop, and do you want to take the chance of screws ripping out of your amp rack?
