Default so ive got an electrical question...

if i were too hook up an ammeter in amp mode with the 2 leads in place of a specific fuse, i should be able to see if that particular circuit is drawing any amps correct? so say i were testing for a short somewhere and the ammeter got no reading (when testing through the fused circuit) then that means that particular circuit is not drawing anything correct?

sounds correct. put the ammeter in place of a fuse and you see no reading then there is no current flowing.. or theres a problem with the ammeter.
