Default No mounting tabs on my factory radio?

It's been years since I had the stock 93 CD player in the car, I went to install it and noticed it doesn't have the mounting tabs like the 94+ radio tabs where it would secure to the car. I started looking around all the radios saw similar to mine didn't have the factory radio tabs on them either. So how is this thing suppose to mount, kind of weird. Also on the 94+ radios how does the steering wheel controls hook up? On my factory 93 it has a seperate plug for the steering wheel controls on the back of the CD player.

93-96 Radio mounting bracket P/N 10098531. This bracket attaches to the left side of the radio.

Thanks man, do you know by any chance how the steering wheel controls plug in on the newer factory head units? I put a 01 wheel in my TA and hooked up the steering wheel controls to my factory harness already on the column. When I plugged in my 93 radio, I was able to confirm that they work. Since the 93s steering wheel control buttons and head units are different, it didn't exactly give me the desired results but that was expected. Just on the newer monsoon head units, there was no place to plug my factory steering wheel control in to on the back of the head unit like there is on the 93 unit. The 94's have the old style wheel like mine did but the newer style head unit, just some what dificult to find a 94 Firebird CD player to try it out.

The Monsoon systems use a single blue wire in the main audio wiring harness for the steering wheel controls. The pinout for the connector is in the Monsoon FAQ sticky at the top of the forum.
