Question Cd changer question?

I have 6 disk cd changer that come from a ford vehicle and i am wondering if there is a way to splice the wires and hook it up to my aftermarket radio in my camaro? i didnt know if there is a write up on how to do this or if anyone can help me.

I doubt you could just wire it up to make a working connection. Sure, you can splice power, ground, and audio signal wires but the problem is the control signal. Your head unit doesn't "know" the codes and signals that are necessary to make the changer change tracks, change discs, or do any of the other control functions.

PIE makes interfaces for some factory changers to connect to specific aftermarket head units (Alpine, Kenwood, Pioneer, and Sanyo). You can find them at http://www.pie.net/pie_store/shopdis...id=33&cat=Ford. But for the $100, you can find many other options... aftermarket changers, iPod adapters, MP3 players, etc.
