Default Problems with display on Monsoon head unit

Any ideas on this one? It started doing this yesterday. The display will look like that for about 2 minutes after start up and then go back to working normal. Oh and while it has the messed up display some of the buttons do not work either.

I ended up leaving the battery disconnected over night and it has not done it since.
