i need to put a new system in my 82 vette. its all stock and **** is not working anymore. i have about $1000 to spend. i figure a new head unit, a nice pair of 6x9s and a good sub would take care of everything and give me some really nice sound.

any suggestions or sponsors that wanna cut me a deal

I'm not sure what size speakers are in it stock, but if possible, something like a CDT 6.5" component set would be the best bet, with maybe a RE SRX or SEX12 if you have room, if not a 10 would be more than enough. As for the headunit, a Pioneer DEH-P7200HD is a nice way to go.

Did you already have a aftermarket headunit in it? If not are you wanting to cut the dash to fit a standard single din head unit or do you want a factory style shaft headunit?

hey i returned your PM, i have a plkate for the car that removes the factory style radio and alloiws a single din install with no cutting. everything, even the headunit is stock right now so i def need a new one
