Default Headlight!!

Ok I have a 01 Trans am. I have replaced the headlight motor more times than I like to count and have this issue now. The clip that connects to the headlight will not stay on just slips off when I open my lights. Does anyone have any sugestion on how I may correct this? Thanks Gods of LS1tech.

What do you mean by "clip." The electrical connector for the bulb?

The connector kept slipping off one of my headlights too. Make sure the wires are routed properly and not binding. Also if you have the newer style bulbs with the big thick white silicone cap on the back, you can put a short screw through the hole in the connector into that white cap and it will hold the connector on tighter. Also the prongs on that newer style are a little shorter. You can help things by cutting off the the little nib on the car's black connector that sticks out between the pins which is hitting the back of the bulb and not letting the prongs sit in as far as they can.

If you bend the bulb prongs in towards each other a bit, that will also help.
