I have a friend that has a 1979 corvette which he's been having issues with a shop told him it was the body control module but they said no one sold them sounds like its something like a central ground system any help on this issue or where to get parts would be greatly appreciated thanks Seth.

I'm not sure a 79 Corvette has a BCM. F-bodies didn't start using BCMs until 1996 - almost 20 years later.

What are the issues he's having? Perhaps we can suggest some testing that could narrow down the source of the problem.
