Default Gauge Cluster Issue

ive had this issue before but it went away and it is now doing it on every cold start no matter what time of the day. When I start the car the Gauge cluster goes crazy and makes a click and resets my trip mileage meter. Anyone have any ideas? Could it me some kind of short?

Common first symptom of your battery dying. Take it to your local auto parts store and they can load test it (usually for free).
