Boss Audio CH6CK - CHAOS EXTREME (in sail panel?)
Will these speakers work in the sail panel of my T/A?

I believe they are subs..they just come with tweeters separately.
I'm a little old for trying to rattle my trunk with speakers, so I'm just looking for some that work.

No, it says right in the description 6.5" mid-ranges. Those will not work in the sail panels - the sound will be so bad that you'd be better off with no speakers there.
Are you too old to want sound to be clear and undistorted? It's not a case of volume (rattling the trunk), it's a case of certain minimum requirements for sound quality below which it's not worth doing. There are some extremely cheap 6.5" subs available at places like Parts Express where they sell do it yourself audio equipment. They're not great but they're far better and even cheaper than those WalMart components.

Not really. My recommendation would be Bazooka DVC subs from Kee Audio. They are more expensive at $100 per pair but they are DVC to match the wiring in your Monsoon system and they get great reviews from everyone who has installed them. If price is a primary consideration then the Goldwood GW-406D 6-1/2" Poly DVC Subwoofer on the parts express site would work but for $15 each they won't be great.
