Default interior lights won't cut off

I have a 2000 camaro z28, I hopped in the car one day and the lights wouldn't cut off. I can't figure it out. Does anyone know what the problem is?

Make sure the dimmer slider isn't all the way up.

Does the radio stay on too? If so, then the problem might be a door switch.

Turn the key to the on position so the radio comes on, then remove the key. The radio should stay on. Open a door. If the radio turns off when opening that door, then that door is fine. Try the test again with the other door. If the radio stays on, then you found the door with the faulty door switch. The door switch is integrated with the latch. It either needs to be cleaned, adjusted, or replaced.

My radio doesn't stay on the accessory doesn't work either. It just stopped working the same time the lights wouldn't cut off. Thanks a lot I'm going to replace the door switches.

Don't replace parts unless it is necessary. Sounds like you have more wrong than that.

Check the RAP fuse (I forget the exact name on the panel).

When I bought the car and hit the alarm the door the passenger door wouldn't lock or unlock it kept getting stuck so i kinda fixed that and everything was working fine but now since the lights are cutting off its probably both switches. That's why I was thinking of replacing them both.
