Default MTX Amplified Sub

Is it any good? I'm going to be replacing my speakers with a package from Kee Audio and I was thinking about installing the MTX sub from the WS6 store while I'm at it. I just wanted to know if you guys think I need it or not. Opinions welcome.

I wouldn't go with an MTX. Ask Ian at Kee Audio which sub in your price range would be the best match. I went with an RE Audio sub based on his suggestion, and it sounds great.

Do not buy an MTX sub. There are plenty of other manufactures to better suit your needs. Are you against running an external amp and building an enclosure?

I did a little more looking around and found that there are way better deals out there with custom enclosures. I would prefer not to run an external amp if I don't have to.
