Did any of the 4th gen Camaros come equipped with outside temperature gauges? If so, what part would I need to add this to my Z28?

My '01 Suburban is equipped with one, with the temp reading contained in the rear view mirror.

I'm sure someone else has done this.

You can buy one of a number of rear view mirrors with various combinations of auto-dimming, map lights, compass, outside temperature, Homelink door opener and rear view camera display. The biggest manufacturer is Gentex who make most of the OEM auto-dim mirrors. Gentex mirrors look factory installed but are fairly expensive - I paid over $300 for mine with map lights, compass and temperature. Other companies are **** and Boyo... their products are much less expensive but also bulkier and don't look like factory equipment.

The bummer is that Gentex no longer makes the mirrors with the map lights built in. That was discontinued several years ago.

I kick myself all the time for not getting one with the compass and temp.

You might consider this one:
It's bulkier than the Gentex/Mito one that was discontinued but it has auto dimming, map lights, compass and temperature for only $131.
