Where does negative side of battery connect to?

Default Where does negative side of battery connect to?
Just bought a car and the previous owner gutted the wiring to the fuse block and also remove the battery/terminal wiring.

I know the positive side goes to the starter and fuse block.

Does negative side just go to frame/engine/body?

Battery to block
Battery to Frame
Block to frame
Body to frame
