Default VSS signal duplication?

I am using an aftermarket transmission controller (TCI EZTCU) to control my 4l80e and still using my stock PCM, Both of which need direct connection to the VSS sensor on the tailshaft of the transmission. I thought I could just splice them together because all they are doing is reading the a/c sinewave voltage from the sensor but it turns out they interfere with each other and kill the signal. Does anyone know if there is anyway to share this signal?

Thanks!

Ok, I think I have an idea. Since the 4l80e has 2 VSS sensors rear for the output (TCU needs to be connected to) and the front for the input shaft speed. When in park or neutral this input shaft spins freely which would normally read 15-30MPH which for obvious reasons I cannot have, but I'm thinking if I hook that VSS signal to a pair of relays that will cut the VSS signal while in park or neutral using the PNP switch on my shifter I can get no signal while in park or neutral then once put in any driving gears signal will be restored and input shaft will match output shaft speeds just showing a 31/40 difference. Any input? or better ideas?

Wouldn't it be easier to just add a diode to each wire to prevent cross feed signal?

I was thinking about that, but each device is giving a current draw so its not that there is an interference with signals its that the signal is kind of being grounded out. I think I found an alternative though. Dakota Digital makes the SGI-5E which supposedly will be able to take the square wave signal coming out of my TCU and converter it back to the sinewave signal that the VSS sensor would produce. I'll just have to make sure the signal conversion rates all line up so I'm not going 150mph on my speedo and 20 in reality lol.

I was able to use the speed output from the TCU by using the DD SGI-5e to convert the signal back to the sinewave signal the vss sensor produces.
