Default 6 spkr monsoon Conv.

my 2000firebird conv. has the monsoon 6 spkr system . I want to change out the radio and speakers and realize the radio i purchased has a 4 spkr set-up . how do i connect the front tweeters to the new radio without losing the sound and power I have with the Monsoon OEM

Please start by reading the Monsoon FAQ sticky at the top of the section.

The factory head unit is an ordinary Delco radio which also only produces four channels of output. Using a wiring adapter harness to avoid butchering the factory wiring when installing an aftermarket head unit will also take care of making sure all eight speakers in your convertible's Monsoon system get the necessary signal.
