99 F body alt on 05-06 e40 ecm I don't see why it won't work and let me show you why. I have and f body alternator I bought new from a local parts shop and it has the 3 pins I need that a 3 wire 4 pin plug 05 Corvette alternator has.
I know 98-02 f bodys use only 1 wire on the 4 pin plug (pin L) and a stock 05 Corvette uses 3 wires on the 4 pin plug (pins S, F, L). My f body alternator I bought has the S F L P pins in the right order on the regulator so I don't why it won't work.
I want to use it because I bought all new F body accessories and dirty dingo f body mounts so I wanna use it all, I've gone to far. My setup is a 06 ls2 24x reluctor e40 ecu DBW and I need to order a harness still.
