Question Help please...

I have a pioneer DEH-P6600 and i am connecting the wiring harness together... On the pioneer harness, it has an orange and white cable to a light source. On the adapter (Gm) it has a solid orange and a orange and white. Which one should go to which. Solid orange or white/orange to white/orange?

Neither. The two wires you want in the original harness are in positions 6 and 7 of the 10-pin black connector at the back of the radio. The brown wire has power whenever the parking lights or headlights are on. The gray wire provides variable voltage from the dash dimmer switch to control the brightness of the radio display.

Check the manual for your Pioneer and connect whichever is the "Lights On" wire to the brown and the "Dimmer" wire to the gray.
