Default Gtech?

Just wondering if anyone has a Gtech performance meter and if so, how accurate are they? Im thinking about getting one but wanted to know if it is worth it. Are there any other brand of meters out there?

I usto use one in my camaro and it seemed allmost dead on time and speed, I also started to use the lateral G's metering to test out new suspension or tire combo's, but I've got the first gen G-tech not the new fantsy one w/ computer hookup and all that stuff....

I don't know about the newer ones but an older one that I had seen had the E/T pretty close but the MPH was WAY off.

Peace,
Craig.

I have the newer one and love it. Can record your times and stuff for different cars, and the screen looks cool on the dash. I used it on my thunderbird super coupe and it was pretty much dead on.
And just think, I almost sold it one day.

I tested a buddys Vector FX1 at the track the other night and it was off by 1 tenth and 2 mph. This could have been due to the weight we set it up for, since we didnt have an exact weight of my car.
It seemed to be a better unit than the Gtech, ive used them both. I found the Gtech to be off by a half second and 10 mph.

I did on my Gtech when I bought my TA a 14.1 at 107.4 mph on a local road. The mph had to be off by a few mph's with a q/t time like that.
