Default would this work as a replacement sub

i am looking to keep my stock headunit but replace all of the speakers, would this sub work in place of my stock subs??

Yes it would. JL discountined that sub though. I would make sure they have them in stock before you buy them, you will need two.

I just installed a pair of JL 6W1 s. Almost the same exact thing, and they sound great. MUCH better than the stock ones. I am thinking of getting a nice little 4 channel amp, but for now, they sound excellent for a "stock" setup. Highly recommend them.

i just got a call from them, they said that they are currently out but will have a whole new shipment coming in next week. I am willing to wait considering the other site i almost bought them from wanted $150 per sub. I got the pair of subs shipped from these guys for aroun $170 if i remember right. I think that is worth the wait especially since i can't really drive it till spring. Just thought i'd let anyone know that is looking to buy them, use the link i posted in the first post on this board, that will take you right to the page.
