Default Could Use some help

Ok, I bought a Pioneer iPod Interface for Pioneer Head Units yesterday, it's part # CD-IB100. Now, before I perform surgery, I have a few questions, everything on the instructions looks pretty straight forward, plug and play, except for the power supply, I need to splice into a yellow wire which is power/battery, and theres anothe black one for ground. Where is a good place to ground a wire when working back there in the cramped dash, also, should I do anything in preparation for this, like take the dash assembly apart, or some interior panels, or would it not matter? thanks a lot!
